THE COURSE

The Golf Course

Set across 56 hectares (138 acres) of beautiful coastal landscape, the golf course at Montecristi Golf Resort & Villas offers one of the most
distinctive golfing experiences in Ecuador. Open to the public, the course combines thoughtful design with the natural beauty of the
Pacific region.

The concept was created by renowned golf course designer Kris Savignac, with more than 35 years of experience in the United States and internationally, working alongside Jerry Pate of the World Golf Hall of Fame and former Vice President of Golden Bear International, founded by legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus. The course shaping was led by master shaper Jerry Dorrough, who has worked with renowned architect Pete Dye.

The result is a modern championship-style course, widely regarded as one of Ecuador’s finest.
